Jim McCabe is the founder and chairman of American Bridge Capital (ABC). Jim is a specialty finance veteran who has held executive roles at several previous financial services firms where he was involved in the sourcing, underwriting, and financing of over $1 billion in investment-grade receivables and alternative assets. At ABC, Jim plays a pivotal role in driving the firm's overall strategy and operations. Jim is also the founder and managing member of Las Olas Capital, LLC, a multi-strategy private investment firm.
He holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Florida.
Ted Kay

Ted Kay is the CEO of American Bridge Capital (ABC). He brings over two decades of senior leadership in business development, operations, and strategic partnerships across finance, disaster recovery, international construction, and the demanding world of music and entertainment.
At ABC, Ted sets the firm's growth strategy, drives outreach, builds high-value partnerships, and expands access to fast, compliant bridge funding for municipalities, private nonprofits, contractors, and subs.
He holds a B.S. from the University of Alabama and received his MBA in International Real Estate Investment from University of Central Florida. Ted is known for his abilities to think outside the box and creatively problem solve.
Marc Hermes
Chief Operating Officer
Marc Hermes is the Chief Operating Officer at American Bridge Capital (ABC) and brings over two decades of financial, operational, and sales leadership, with deep roots in structured settlement funding and a proven track record of building scalable finance platforms.
Before joining American Bridge Capital, Marc served as President of Liberty Settlement Funding, where he oversaw all aspects of operations, finance, and sales. Under his leadership, Liberty became a recognized leader in the structured settlement space, serving thousands of clients nationwide since its founding in 2011. Prior to entering the financial services industry, Marc spent over a decade at Comcast Spotlight (now Effectv), where he ranked in the top 5% of sales professionals across the U.S.
Marc holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from the University of Florida. Marc plays a key role in guiding ABC's financial strategy and supporting its mission to deliver rapid, flexible capital solutions for government-backed infrastructure and disaster recovery projects.
Rhett Wadsworth
Director of Sales & Operations
Rhett Wadsworth is the Director of Sales and Operations at American Bridge Capital (ABC), where he manages client relationships, deal pipeline, and the firm's day-to-day operational execution. With over two decades of experience in structured finance, capital markets, and business operations, Rhett plays a central role in connecting borrowers with the capital solutions they need to keep projects moving.
Before joining ABC, Rhett built his career in the structured settlements and alternative assets space, where he led sales organizations, scaled transaction volume, and developed deep expertise in receivables-backed financing and secondary market deal structures. His background in sourcing, underwriting, and closing complex financial transactions translates directly to the work ABC does for federal contractors and infrastructure borrowers.
Rhett holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Florida State University.
